Konnichiwa (Greetings) from King’s Chapel Japan!

God has been doing wonderful things here in Iwakuni, Japan. In March, we started our Feeding Program for the community at our church in Marifu, which we are having on the first Saturday of every month. This program started due to the increase of families who are in poverty, such as children who have single or foreign parents, who cannot afford 3 meals a day. Our city of Iwakuni has 15 organizations who are feeding the community. We had many people, including non-Christians not a part of the church, give donations for our food distribution program. Our volunteers consisted of both our adults and youth from the church and we had opportunities to feed and interact with the people of the community. We also played a video of the story of Easter with Jesus Christ, as a way to share the gospel. Even a local news representative stopped by and we were able to share our story and we were featured in the local news!

We ask if you could please continue to pray and support us in this ministry. Also pray that the children that come will also come to our Sunday School. We look forward to what God will do with our Feeding Program, to use it as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus to our community!
